Motivation
SocialBigdata-CM is a research network whose main objective is to analyze the social transformations produced by technological change. The network integrates different research groups from several Spanish and foreign universities. SocialBigdata-CM is expected to become a catalyzer and generate powerful research synergies within the involved research groups and with international researchers, firms and associated entities in the use of Big Data.
This seminar is one of the activities of diffusion of the consortium. The objective is also to create collaboration opportunities with other universities and companies to promote the internationalization of the network. In this occasion the topic is focus on how the big data and data mining/machine learning can be applied in healthcare and social sciences
